1. In The Beginning

I stood before Him.  I knew this much, that I had a love for Him that would allow me to do whatever He asked.  I knew the task ahead was difficult.  In fact He asked me, while standing facing me.  “Are you sure you are prepared to do this?  It will not be easy!”  He looked at me.  He gave me a choice.  He had chosen me to do something for Him.  At the time my purpose was clear, but I was fully aware that I would most likely forget all of what stood so clearly in front of me at that very moment.  Being born does that.  I smiled at Him, so proud to be chosen by One as great as Him.

“Yes, I am sure!” I answered with the full knowledge that only my love for Him would remain after I was born.  I knew that would be enough!  And so I was sent.

The two things remained with me from my birth.  My intense love for Him and a knowledge I was chosen……for what? I had no idea.

During the early months one other memory is also very clear.  I begged my mother not to kill me.  My termination was being spoken of.  I could hear everything.  I was apparently only 3 months into my 9 month incubation.  But I understood everything.  I made my mother a promise.  I begged her that if she allow me to live, I would never give her a day’s trouble.  I would be good. “I promise mommy!”  My dads legal guardian was prompting my mother to terminate her pregnancy saying she was too young.  I heard.  I understood.  I pleaded!

My mother loved me already and refused to have me aborted.  Thank you mom.

And so was born this tiny little girl, already fearful of the world as her life had been threatened so early.  I was very sensitive.  Unfortunately , sensitivity has two sides.  Like a two edged sword.  You are sensitive to unkind things done to you but also to being able to hear the Father.  The task ahead was how to keep the one side alive while not being killed by the other!  The one had the ability to destroy the other.

And so began my journey.

My womb experience remained with me all my life.  I can still see what it was like in the womb.  I used to return to that space as a little child to go to sleep.  It was my place of safety.  It was where I was comfortable and protected.  It was the closest I could get to being in front of Him again.  This world I was born into did not make me feel safe…ever.

If only our spiritual journey would include only personal lessons, which were not affected by outside circumstances, or better put, caused by outside circumstances, how easy would our journey be.  But we live in a world that does not honour Him nor does it honour His ways, so for the world to hate those that love Him is actually the norm.  Influence from the outside will always be hard.

As the years pass, as age increases, so does ones ability to step out of a circumstance and to see it from a slightly less emotional point of view.  Sometimes it takes a period of time away from people or circumstances to allow one the time to grow and overcome these monstrous and often painful obstacles.

It was this way with me.  I am going to spend the next few weeks sharing my story.  I want to share the tears, the pain, the joy and the reality of living among people who never bothered to find out the truth.  In fact, who despised the truth.  I want to share with you how awesome our Heavenly Father  “Yehuwah” is. How knowing  Yehushua His Son, knowing His voice is the only way to overcome.  I want to share with you how He has called me from before I was conceived.  The journey, the trials and the overcoming.  Time is short.  There is a call for the Truth to go out partly to call in the last few that would hear and partly to bring in judgment to those that refuse and deny the Truth.

So, in this alone I boast…that I know Him and He knows me.  I love Him.  He is my everything.  Praise Yah!

Jer 9:23  Thus said יהוה, “Let not the wise boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty boast in his might, nor let the rich boast in his riches,

Jer 9:24  but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am יהוה, doing kindness, right-ruling, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” declares יהוה.

If you have ever been involved in a network marketing business, you will know how hard it is to get facts across to people. It is as though they have this invisible mountain between yourself and them and it is going to take a bulldozer to remove it so they can actually hear you. You might be marketing the world’s most incredible products but not one word hits home. That is caused by what I like to term “preconceived opinions”. Now preconceived opinions are controlled by influences from the outside and goes straight in the filing cabinet in your mind that says “bring up whenever this subject comes up and use as a protective defense against intruders”.

However, this “decision” mostly lands in the mind unsorted, unfiltered and without rational understanding and research. You trust the source and that’s good enough for you. But the scary thing is, once it is there, well, you know the story – it is going to take a bulldozer! It plants itself in a piece of the mind that says “DO NOT MOVE!”

Well, I am sad to say “Torah” has been dealt the same blow. Just about every person you mention the word to comes up with their defense immediately. “We are not under the law – we are saved by grace!” and the conversation ends there because no matter what you say, they feel you are attacking their foundational salvation, which has been planted with the “DO NOT MOVE” poster.

So, today I am going to ask you to hold on to your posters for a short while. I am going to assure you that this is not connected to removing your grace, neither is it challenging your salvation. It is however the one subject that every teaching in the Scriptures evolve around and to remove it is to make your walk unstable. To embrace and understand Torah is liberating, a very light load, brings the most incredible favour and blessing and it brings a joy and a release like nothing in this world.

You see, Torah is not the law as people imagine it to be. In Matthew 15:1-9 this message is clearly demonstrated.

Then there came to יהושע scribes and Pharisees from Yerushalayim, saying,

“Why do Your taught ones transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.”

But He answering, said to them, “Why do you also transgress the command of Elohim1 because of your tradition?

“For Elohim has commanded, saying, ‘Respect your father and your mother,’ and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’

“But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me has been dedicated,”

is certainly released from respecting his father or mother.’ So you have nullified the command of Elohim by your tradition.

“Hypocrites! Yeshayahu rightly prophesied about you, saying,

‘This people draw near to Me with their mouth, and respect Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.

‘But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as teachings the commands of men.

Here it is clear as day. The religious leaders did the same then as they do today. They have made traditions and laws that over ride the teachings of the Father….That is the LAW. Torah is not the Law – it is the instructions and commands of our Father.

The religious system honours man made festivals like Christmas and says “ignore His Festivals”. Go and do your homework. These Festivals in Torah we are commanded to honour as an everlasting command. Then comes Easter which is actually the Festival of fertility. Only a blind person would not see the connection between eggs and bunnies. If you have never asked what the connection is between Messiah dying and Easter eggs then you have some serious work to do!

Isa 29:13 And יהוה says, “Because this people has drawn near with its mouth, and with its lips they have esteemed Me, and it has kept its heart far from Me, and their fear of Me has become a command of men that is taught1!

Mar 7:7 And in vain do they worship Me, teaching as teachings the commands of men.’

2Ki 17:19 Yehudah, also, did not guard the commands of יהוה their Elohim, but walked in the laws of Yisra’ĕl which they made. (Man made laws)

So, here Yehushua shows the laws He defies and they are not the commands from the Torah from His Father that he defies. It is the man made laws that He speaks out against. Yehushua endorsed and followed Torah. He said He is the Way, the Truth and the Light. Follow His example.

Now if that does not act as a bulldozer then I don’t know.

The father of conspiracies hasatan himself has done a good job in making it the trend of Christianity to deny the validity of the very Book that it bases its religion on. I hear more often “Oh, that does not count anymore”, than “Isn’t His Torah awesome? The blessings are incredible.”

If you buy a car, along with it one always receives an instruction manual. In it is information that will help you get the most out of your car. Ignore it or lose it and you will never get full benefit from that vehicle. There will be aspects you never understand or realize are there. I have a friend who bought a new car and sat in it for hours. I asked if she was okay and she said there is so much in this car, I need to understand it. Now if we can do that for a car, what about our life, both here and now and for eternity. Surely we need to pull those giant mountains down and read and get to understand His Manual for our lives. If man teaches anything contrary to the Word, be cautious for his heart is deceived.

Now you might say to me, but what about Galatians? Now without going into any more detail than what I have already brought to light about the law spoken of, is the law of the religious leaders and NOT Torah, l want to point out that the whole New Testament was not around when Yehushua and Paul were teaching. The Scriptures they spoke of ALL refer to Torah!

Torah includes instruction on how to respect parents, how to handle a theft, how to treat your elders, how to remove mould from your dwelling, how to handle people when they are sick to prevent further spreading of disease. It tells you how to guarantee blessing and favour in your life. It tells you why everything you do fails. It gives you instructions so that when you hit a cross road in your life and have to make a decision, you should turn to the hand book and see what it says for that situation. He promises that when you do that and you consult with Him and follow His directions, He will bless your undertakings.

The instructions on the Temple cannot be applied currently for there is no Temple. Yehushua became the sacrificial lamb for the remission of sin. But many of the sacrificial instructions are also symbolic and give great insight into spiritual matters and how to deal with them. So realize – It All Has VALUE!

I do hope this has encouraged you to seek direction and the Way through His complete Word. Be careful of anyone who teaches and contradicts this. Please watch this short clip. You will begin to understand that His instructions are blessings!!!!

Shalom

Most people address our Heavenly Father as “God” and His only begotten Son as “Jesus”. We refer to either of them as Lord and Jesus often accompanies the word Christ. But is this all correct? Have these Names been altered. If they have been changed, or altered in any way, does it make a difference?

Let us remind ourselves what was said in Jeremiah (Yirmeyahu)

Jer 16:19 O יהוה, my strength and my stronghold and my refuge, in the day of distress the gentiles shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, “Our fathers have inherited only falsehood, futility, and there is no value in them.”

It was prophesied that we would discover we had inherited lies.

We have also been warned in Deuteronomy (Debarim)

Deu 4:2 “Do not add to the Word which I command you, and do not take away from it, so as to guard the commands of יהוה your Elohim which I am commanding you. Footnote: See also 12:32, Prov. 30:6, Rev. 22:18-19.

Do not add to the Word nor take away from the Word!

So, at the outset of this journey, we may encounter lies and we may find things taken away or added in. Either way, we need to uncover the truth and find its relevance and apply it accordingly.

One of the biggest changes is found in the 10 Commands, which were given to Moses (Moshe) on Mount Sinai by the Father Himself. Unfortunately, the Constantine regime 321CE and thereabouts, decided to make some changes. But before we look at some of the changes, go and do some serious research and find out what type of man we are dealing with.

I have found he murdered his wife and son, one was boiled in oil. He never converted until his deathbed for he said he was afraid he would sin and lose his salvation. He was a Roman Emperor but also a sun worshipper. The halo over every picture and painting since then is the sign of the sun. Constantine found that he could assure the continuation of Roman Rule using religion. Anybody who continued in honoring the Sabbath on the correct day was executed. The new command under Roman rule was to honor Him on the Sunday, the day of the sun. The Scriptures since then have had the real Names removed and replaced with generic names which serve all religions, to assure the continuation of rule under the Roman Empire, even until today.

So, let us now take a look at the 10 Commands and focus on the verse that talks about His Name.

Exo 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. (KJA)

Now let us look at what it really said before the alteration:

Exo 20:7 “You do not bring1 the Name of יהוה your Elohim to naught, for יהוה does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught. Footnote: 1Or lift up, or take. (Scriptures)

This now paints a totally different picture. Firstly you will notice that it is a very serious offence to reduce His Name to nothing. You will also see His correct Name is used – it remains in Hebrew. The letters are read from right to left. Yod Hey Vav Hey.

Now complete your research and go and look up what the word god or God means. Keep in mind that there are no capital letters in Hebrew, so to say a capital letter will give it different meaning, is actually incorrect. That is deception. Ask yourself why Hindus, Satanists, Moslems, Methodists, Baptists, Charismatics and even Free Masons all pray to god/God? It is a generic term for something or someone that is worshipped. To add a capital letter and say it is a supreme one being worshipped does not change its meaning. A rat is still a rat, no matter how supreme it is.

His Name holds incredible authority. To hide His Name from man is a grievous sin. I did a quick search just in Psalms and these are a few texts that demonstrate the importance of His Name. We are told to call on His Name, Praise His Name, Give esteem and honour to His Name. It will bring you into His Presence, deliver you, set you on high and bring you an inheritance. He will answer you if you call upon His Name. His enemies despise it . We are to make known His Name, boast in His Name. Now how can we do that if the Name has been removed? Who would gain by this???? If a sun worshipping politician made all these changes, let us, who love Him restore His Name, praise His Name and exalt His Name.

Call upon His Name Psa 105:1 Give thanks to יהוה! Call upon His Name, Make known His deeds among the peoples.

Praise His Name Psa 7:17 I give thanks to יהוה according to His righteousness, And praise the Name of יהוה Most High. Psa 9:2 I rejoice and exult in You; I sing praise to Your Name, O Most High. Trust in His Name Psa 9:10 And those who know Your Name trust in You, For You have not forsaken those who seek You, O יהוה. Psa 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, But we remember the Name of יהוה our Elohim. Psa 33:21 For our heart does rejoice in Him, For we have put our trust in His set-apart Name.

Psa 116:4 Then I called upon the Name of יהוה, “O יהוה, I pray to You, deliver my being!” Psa 124:8 Our help is in the Name of יהוה, Maker of the heavens and earth.

Make known His Name Psa 22:22 I make known Your Name to My brothers; In the midst of the assembly I praise You.

Boast in His Name Psa 44:8 In Elohim we shall boast all day long, And praise Your Name forever. Selah. Psa 105:3 Make your boast in His set-apart Name; Let the hearts rejoice of those seeking יהוה.

His Name Brings an Inheritance Psa 61:5 For You, O Elohim, have heard my vows; You have given me the inheritance Of those who fear Your Name. Psa 69:36 And the seed of His servants inherit it, And those who love His Name dwell in it1.

His enemies despise His Name

Psa 74:10 O Elohim, how long would the adversary reproach? Would the enemy despise Your Name forever1? Footnote: 1v.18.

Not calling on His Name brings wrath

Psa 79:6 Pour out Your wrath on the gentiles Who have not known You, And on reigns that have not called on Your Name.

Brings revival

Psa 80:18 And we shall not backslide from You. Revive us, and let us call upon Your Name.

Most High – give Esteem

Psa 83:18 And let them know that You, Whose Name is יהוה, You alone are the Most High over all the earth.

Psa 86:9 Let all nations You have made Come and bow themselves before You, O יהוה, And give esteem to Your Name.

Fear Your Name

Psa 86:11 Teach me Your way, O יהוה; Let me walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your Name.

Psa 91:14 “Because he cleaves to Me in love, Therefore I deliver him; I set him on high, Because he has known My Name.

He answers you

Psa 99:6 Mosheh and Aharon were among His priests, And Shemuʼĕl was among those calling upon His Name. They called upon יהוה, and He answered them.

To enter His Presence

Psa 100:4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him; bless His Name.

It brings Favour/Blessings

Psa 119:132 Turn to me and show me favour, According to Your right-ruling, toward those who love Your Name. Psa 118:26 Blessed is He who is coming in the Name of יהוה!1 We shall bless you from the House of יהוה. Footnote:1See Mat. 23:39.

His Name being praised takes you into His presence.

Call upon it.

It sounds like the wind

Yaaahoooowah.

Whoever calls upon My Name shall be saved!

His Name has signed His Covenant Psa 111:9 He sent redemption to His people, He has commanded His covenant forever. Set-apart and awesome is His Name.

To understand Scripture one has to understand the difference between a Greek translation and a Hebrew translation. To understand this of course one must understand that one thinks in a linear fashion and the other in far broader terms.

When discussing Scripture with a Greek or Greek/Roman mindset (which happens to be the entire western world) one will have constant disagreements about the absolute meaning of a piece of Scripture. That is because to a Greek/Roman mentality or Western mindset there is only one meaning to everything.

It is not this way with the Eastern mindset or with the Hebrew/Aramaic text. To understand this one should understand PARDES. Principals of PARDES can be applied to all Scripture.

P = PASHAT – this is the literal meaning of the text

R = REMEZ – Remez are the hints in the text that point to something deeper

D = DRASH – Drash is the added understanding that can be gleaned by a story, riddle or parable.

S = SOD – (pronounced like sewd – the go sound) Sod is the deepest level. This is the secret or underlying mystery revealed in the text.

A group of 3 Hebrew men can discuss a piece of Scripture and have 4 opinions – all right. This is because one can look at so many facets of a piece of Scripture and so many lessons can be gleaned from every piece. 3 Western men can discuss a piece of Scripture and disagree and leave and all start a new church because they could not agree.

You will know you have sifted and discerned Scripture correctly when there are no contradictions through out Scripture – when all is taken into account, where no teaching is done away with, when from the beginning of Genesis to the end of Revelation, one finds a consistent message and a continuing thread. Our Father has never changed His mind, had different rules for different people. Jews do not have one set of rules and Christians another. The Father and Messiah have and gave us the Torah (Instructions). This applies to all creaion.

The differences also extend to the many idioms used like “A land flowing with milk and honey”, does not mean a land with a lot of milk producing cows and bee hives. It means a fertile land.

To look upon ones nakedness is not to look at a naked woman it is to have sexual relations. When Noah was lying drunk, his son Ham came in and slept with his wife. Caanan was the product of the union. His father Noah was aware what happened and cursed the offspring and his descendants. So to understand the idioms is essential to understanding the script.

The Hebrew language also is very different. Every letter has a meaning. The letters can be mixed up and the new meaning will just throw more light on the word. An Excellent example is the way that the first book in the Bible got its Greek name Genesis, because the initial meaning of the Hebrew word Beresheet is “In the beginning”. So the Greek/western mindset translated it as Genesis – one single line – one single meaning.

But if you break it down more it includes the following meanings

Beth – build a house

Bar – for His Son

Baret – by making a covenant (first two letters and last two letters)

Reshet – for the sake of the beginning.

So, The Father started off by creating a house for the sake of His son by making a covenant. This Hebrew custom would take place when the Groom was building a house for His Bride. It was the only time they would build a house for a Son. So, from the beginning, this was all planned.

All that from a word that was translated as Genesis. I think I have made my point.

And for those that still think the Scriptures were written in Greek go to http://www.aramaicpeshitta.com or http://aramaicnttruth.org or http//www.raphaellataster.com and download the free book “Was the New Testament Really Written in Greek?”

When the Creator of the Universe set out, He had a plan. He executed the plan and nothing is a mistake. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Sift through this because much mud has been thrown in to deceive. Even the shepherds have helped throw in mud. That is why we are told we have One Rabbi, One Teacher and that is Messiah Yehushua.

More on the Name/s next time.

Shalom

This world abounds in fruitless tales

That bind the mind and soul

With anecdotes that sooth what ails

But never heals its whole

We flounder as we walk through life

And follow crowd so poor

They seldom waltz the truth of strife

Those paths do them not lure

For truth is such a hidden trail

It calls to so few souls

For some the walk is like a jail

For seekers it makes whole

The walk of truth is lonely too

To find gems in the sand

But oh the joy felt by so few

is worth the race they ran

To find the answers few have asked

To dance with truth so pure

To find the paths so few have walked

Fulfillment – that’s for sure

To find truth is not state of mind

Its absolute and real

Its singular in source and shape

And there for all to feel

It takes the brave and strong of heart

To go where others cringe

To know whats right is biggest part

For truth that’s bad will singe

Be brave you sojourner of faith

Go bask where most just sleep

You’ll find what few will ever taste

So much that you will weep

Then walk that lonely path you find

But know this from the start

A chosen few are of this kind

Who choose the narrow part

Whoever seeks shall always find

Whoever knocks shall open

The arena of this is the mind

Whats shown on earth is token

But truth unveils you from the world

It sets your soul apart

It makes your steps oh so bold

It gives you glow of heart

So seek a way and know this true

What waits for you this day

The joy of seeing life anew

The peace to know the Way

Be blessed you sojourner of truth!

Shalom

When Life does send its trials to you

Responses count for much

What weights are used should all be true

True for you to judge

If weights are not for righteousness

They usually serve just you

They’re set to make the others less

And make all those pay due

If righteousness is not your line

And self becomes your plumb

You set yourself for quite a time

You’ve set yourself for shun

We serve a Father up above

Who sees all that we do

He covers those that do Him love

Even when they’re few

When right of ruling He commands

We’re called to follow suit

We should do not bow to whims of man

Nor follow lowly route

We’ve seen Him act so many times

We know His Word is true

We know when He does draw the line

He makes for you to choose

But once you’ve chosen He will act

According to your choice

His judgement comes always in tact

You’ll know you’ve heard His voice.

Take stock of all intentions now

Before His judgment falls

For once its done you cannot bow

He will not hear you call.

Our Elohim is mighty now

He will not stand for wrong

Every knee will learn to bow

Each voice will sing His song

For those that wont – who think He’s naught

You’ll see soon who He is

His time is near… its very short

This earth and all  are His…….

Choose wisely….choose Life…….its Eternal

Thirty days hath April

I’ve often heard it said

Day one has brought a thrill

I cannot go to bed.

Across the sea a challenge came

To poets far wide and far

To daily write a wordly frame

To write and be a star

So even tho am far away

I join with pen in hand

I cannot from the challenge stray

I’ve come to make my stand

To write for me is quite some fun

The words are liquid silk

To play with words and lines and pun

To me – its mothers milk.

So this is entry number one

And daily I will write

Till thirty rhymes are all but done

This is but pure delight.

South Africa is miles away

Across the sea so wide

But WordPress has now made a way

To close the great divide.

So let all poets now arise

And share their hearts and souls

To bring delight to young and wise

To challenge grandest goals

Happy writing!  Happy Reading!

Sunset

IMG01230-20130115-1707

Sunset comes each close of day

and brings its unique beauty

When clouds prevent its true display

It pierces light right through it.

I watch with awe as light breaks through

It grows and shines more boldly

May each and every battle prove

As flimsy as this cloud is.

That single beam can bring a cry

IMG01231-20130115-1707

That single beam can bring a cry

it takes my breath away

It moves my heart and brings a sigh

It signatures this day

Yet mostly nights are ushered in

by glory shining light

By peach and every shade of pink

To herald in the night

img01190-20121229-1831.jpg

Take the time to look outside

and see our gifts so great

take the time to breath them in

It never is too late!
